Riku proposed to Sora on Twitter RP partially with this mix, so auraille got to see this before anyone else ♥ This also means that most of the songs are from Riku's perspective, but that's just how I roll sometimes :P

This one is kind of a mixed perspective? I've always associated this song with the reunion scene in KH2, especially Sora's reactions.

Oooh, metaphors~ But if you've read any of my Riku/Sora fics, you'll know I like talking about breath as a metaphor for different things.

Riku might be a little bit unsure, but that doesn't mean he doesn't know exactly what he feels for Sora.

Ever since I read Boys by Casey V., I've always associated this song with Riku and Sora. Yes, that's how old this playlist is.

When he's with Sora, Riku feels like everything makes a little more sense.

Really reminds me of the end of KH2, where Sora carried Riku to the dark beach. Both literally and metaphorically.

One of the few Sora-perspective songs.

Riku always refuses to give up, and he does like overcoming obstacles on his own, but there are some times when you just need a place to stay for the night and some moral support. Sora is, of course, completely willing to do this because Riku really tries to do things on his own too much, and that's just silly.

A song for all that attempted and successful hand-holding. Sora's pretty good at getting Riku to "learn to think positive" :)

Riku knows that he's not as good of a person as Sora, but while it can sometimes discourage Riku, it also makes him very thankful to have Sora as a best friend, or even more. There's also more of the reunion scene in here, too.

Riku ends up sacrificing a lot over the course of the games, and he accepts it because Sora's the one he's sacrificing those things for. The trick is getting Riku to realize that Sora still accepts him, as well.

God, this song is so gorgeous. Everything that Riku and Sora have gone through has not broken them apart but only made them and their bond with each other stronger. ...I quoted pretty much the entire song, didn't I?

Another gorgeous song, and one that's perfect to close the mix. You know, I almost put this on my 2759 FST. But the compass references won me over to Riku/Sora. also paopu-powered reincarnation means Sora and Riku came first, but that's very headcanony, even for a mix
