way2dawnA Xemnas FST I made a while back. Just in case it needs to be said, I made this before I was spoiled for Birth By Sleep, but if anyone wants to ask about my thoughts regarding Xemnas and BBS, I'd be willing to discuss explanations/theories with you (please specify game canon and/or ficverses).

Prologue: Waking The Monster - Darren Hayes

Xehanort, an amnesiac under the care of Ansem the Wise, starts to explore darkness of the heart and the nature of the Heartless. In doing so, he opens a door in Radiant Garden and turns into a Heartless himself.

I'm just burning out
And I stepped in line
to walk amongst the dead
Apathy has rained on me
Now I'm feeling like a soggy dream
So close to drowning but I don't mind

Hell, who needs them anyway
Xemnas is born into nonexistence and realizes that the actions of who he had been as Xehanort have caused him to lose his heart.

Radiate, recognize one silent call
As we all form one dark flame...
Xemnas quickly learns that the other five former apprentices of Ansem the Wise have also become Nobodies, so he gathers them together, appoints himself leader of the Organization, and begins to direct hearts to The World That Never Was.

Cause he knows it's all worthwhile
Xemnas expects every single member of the Organization to be completely loyal to him, and makes sure that those disloyal are dealt with. I always imagine Saix singing this song.

but thought that some years from now

Everyone in the Organization gets to wear a cool black coat and the very same boots that Xehanort wore then he was an apprentice. Little by little, the Organization gains new members.

Xemnas doesn't really seem to understand why people would want to stop him from completing Kingdom Hearts because he fails to consider that each heart that was part of Kingdom Hearts came from a person.

Old habits are hard to break, and Xemnas is still a scientist at non-heart. While he is in charge of the Organization, numerous experiments are carried out, most notably the Replica Program.

Although it was Xehanort's actions that caused Xemnas to become a Nobody, Xemnas continued the spread of Heartless to various worlds in order to accomplish his goals. Inevitably, he is deafeated and his Organization is no more.
